The farm Agriturismo Il Fascinaro is situated in the Latium region, in the Province of Frosinone, an area known as Ciociaria, on the foot of the National Park Parco Nazionale D'Abruzzo, in the so called valley Valle Di Comino.

Our agritourism was established because we wanted to give today's people the opportunity to relive the life in an antique family farmhouse that is dating back to the beginning of the past century.
The name of the holiday farm - Il Fascinaro - comes from the name of the tree, from which were already made more than centuries ago the so called faggots, small bundles of thin wood, bound together between them, used later to light the fire.

The farm holiday Il Fascinaro is composed of four comfortable double rooms, a restaurant, where la signora Annina will make you discover the genuine specialities of the Ciociaria area, the so called piatti tipici ciociari mainly made of meat, deriving from the own farm, homemade pasta, seasonal vegetables, local mushrooms, asparagus and seasonal fruits... just to make you taste real, natural flavours, maybe accompanied by a good glass of local wine.

After a delicious lunch, one can enjoy the peacefulness of the place or just have a nice walk in the wood, surrounding the farm, until arriving at a brook.
For kids, there is a small playground with swings or there is Miranda, our pony, on which they may have a ride.
Nearby, there is also a riding school, where it is possible to get riding lessons or to take part in horseback excursions. During the summer months, the farmyard is equipped with an outside swimming pool.

Il Fascinaro can be the ideal starting point to visit Arpino (15 km), the Vicalvi Castle (8 km), the nature reserve Riserva Naturale del Lago di Posta Fibreno (10 km), the abbey of Montecassino (36 km), Balsorano castle (28 km), the waterfalls of Isola del Liri (18 km) and the Pastena caves (50 km).
Bisides historical places and nature reserves, during the winter months it is possible to sk at the ski runs at Pescasseroli (44 km) to be reached passing through the nature reserve Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo, where it is possible to make pleasant excursions in the so called Camosciara valley. Rome (110 km) and Naples (125 km) can be reached in approx. 1 h by car or train (from Montecassino).

At the farm's restaurant it is possible to organize small receptions for family parties, birthdays, small weddings, business lunches etc. For any further information, la signora Annina will assist you in choosing the right menu for your special occasion.
